This guide shows you how to edit your poster. You do not need to be a designer. If you can click and type, you can do it.
What is a layer?
Think of your poster as a pile of clear sheets. Each sheet holds one thing: your name, your photo, a shape, or the background. Each sheet is called a layer. Layers let you change one part of the poster without touching the rest.
1. Select a part of your poster
There are two easy ways:
-
Click on the part in the poster, for example "Your name".
-
Or click its name in the Layers list on the left.
The settings for that part open on the right side.

2. Understand the Layers list
The Layers list shows every part of your poster, such as Text, User name, User role, Avatar, and Shape.
Some layers have a small pen icon next to them. This means attendees can change that part themselves when they make their own poster, for example their name and photo.
3. Use the 3-dot menu
Click the 3 dots next to any layer to see these options:
-
Rename: Change the layer name. You can also double-click the name.
-
Duplicate: Make a copy of the layer.
-
Lock layer: Stop the layer from moving by mistake.
-
Hide layer: Hide the layer without deleting it. You can show it again later.
-
Delete: Remove the layer.
Tip: If you are not sure, choose Hide layer instead of Delete.

4. Fix the "Overlapping widgets" warning
An orange warning means two parts of your poster sit on top of each other. For example, User role and User company may overlap. This can make the words hard to read. To fix it:
-
Click one of the layers named in the warning.
-
Drag it to a new place on the poster.
-
Check that the warning is gone.

5. Change size, position, and background
When you select a part, you can change these on the right side:
-
W and H: the size.
-
X and Y: the position on the poster.
-
Rotation: tilt it.
-
Corner radius: make the corners round.
To change the background, click it, then click Change to upload a new image. Use the Transparency slider to make it lighter or darker.
6. Preview and save
-
Click Preview at the top to see how your poster will look.
-
Made a mistake? Click the undo arrow at the bottom.
-
Click Save & exit when you are done.
7. Want a designer to do it for you?
Click the purple Get Professional Design Support box at the bottom left, then click Request Design Support.
A professional designer will make a poster that matches your brand. You will get a first draft quickly, and the designer will improve it using your feedback.
